April is a time when everyone’s thoughts turn to spring.
Here at the Greenway Conservancy, it is also a time when we get a lot of eager volunteers ready to get outside and lend their hands!

During National Volunteer Week, some of our regular volunteers helped with the huge task of spring cleanup.

This month, 150 volunteers donated over 400 hours working on spring cleanups, raking, edging, pruning, weeding, and litter pick-up, as well as tasks in our office including stuffing envelopes and creating sign design ideas. This was a tremendous help and our volunteers were enthusiastic and motivated, even through April’s fickle weather!
